there is no excitement or energy for hilary. all the media reflects is trump hatred. thats the entire democrat agenda 2016. its nothing but a fog.

polls are make believe. total fudge factories until the one that counts is within sight. you know this.

Here is why.

Who follows Trump on Twitter? His supporters or people who are into him (and the media, of course). It doesn't matter which of them has more Twitter followers. If they post something newsworthy on Twitter the media will pick it up and run with it whether they have 10 followers or 10 million. Trump doesn't need to convince his Twitter followers to vote for him, most of them already are.

The same goes for for the rallies. Most of the people showing up at these rallies have already decided they are going to vote for him. The real value of these rallies is that they give the candidate a platform to say something that could make the news. It doesn't matter if 10,000 people are there to hear it, or 100 people are there to hear it. If it is newsworthy or could make headlines the media will pick it up and run with it.

Bernie drew huge crowds and while he got fucked over with the super delegates, he also got 3.7 million fewer votes than Hillary did. Back when Kerry was running against Bush he drew huge crowds and Bush drew small crowds and Kerry still lost. What matters is your campaigns ability to get people to the polls and put a check next to your name on election day, not if you can get them to show up to hear you speak three months before the election. Here is a good piece on why crowd size is not an indicator of winning or losing.

The polls are not make believe. That is something people who are losing say in order to convince their supporters to still vote for them. Trump would not shut up about how great he was doing in the polls during the primaries an when he was doing well. Now all of a sudden he is silent about them or calling them out as being rigged. Are some of the polls flawed? Sure. But most of the bipartisan polling companies have been doing this for a very long time and they have a very good methodology behind how they work and in the end they are accurate. They may not be as accurate today as they will be in two months when the last remaining undecided voters have made a decision, but they are still pretty accurate.

While there may not be a whole lot of excitement for Hillary, she is now starting to be seen as the lesser of two evils. They look at Trump and they can't imagine him in the Oval Office. They hear him talk and he sounds like their uncle who gets drunk at the family barbecue and rails against the government. It worked well for him in the primaries, but it clearly isn't working well on independent voters and he doesn't seem to know what to do.

Trump even said today if he loses he will take a vacation and have a good life. He has also talked about how the election is already rigged against him. That sounds like a guy who has given up.
