I can only speak for us, but we have changed out our framework for HTML 5. It is much faster, and we've seen a huge improvement. Now, because we have so much invested in the WOWZA broadcasting setup, we are using HTML 5 for everything except the broadcasting, which is still Flash based, sadly. We're working on the HTML P2P broadcasting part and it is very difficult, but for us it's imperative as well.

Wowza is cool. For broadcasting (the models sending video), you can support and let download open broadcaster (
https://obsproject.com/download ) , the pc/mac freeware used by gamers to broadcast in twitch.tv for example. We implemented that, but nearly no model use that, they simply use Flash as it's quicker for them and does not involve brain effort. I guess after Chrome will remove Flash, models will prefer to switch to firefox rather than use the broadcaster. Only when firefox also may ban flash... well the models may switch to explorer. If explorer also bans flash.. ok then models will finally download and use the damn broadcaster program.
Users wanting to send own video: same story of models, I guess.
