that's the thing that kills me. dude smoked crack AND was a chronic alcoholic and a domestic violence perpetrator but everyone focused on the pipe, even before the recording was released.

further, he was a city official who threatened to bring the cops down en mass upon a low income, racialized neighborhood when this recording first came to light and he was pissed about it.

the same 'minorities' aka poor kids with melanin he claims to have taken under his wing (about to have an aneurysm here over this bullshit) yet saw as fodder for the criminal justice system when it served his interests.

thoroughly horrible human being. like crack was the central problem here. dude couldn't even handle legal substances and basic human decency and ethics were never qualities he embraced.

not happy he's dead, just think the world is a better place without some people in it.
