Lithia Henderson, 41, Marshalla Kelly, 23, and Marshall L. Henderson, 21, appeared in court Sunday, where a judge set bail at $900,000 for each of them, according to Cook County state’s attorney office spokeswoman Tandra Simonton.
The three, from Chicago, are charged with murder in the death of 23-year-old Andre Jackson and are slated to appear again in court Sept. 2.
The incident happened the night of Aug. 4 when Jackson and a 20-year-old male family member went, unarmed, to the area of the 4600 block of West Gladys Avenue in West Garfield Park to confront a witness. Jackson had been fighting with the man on Facebook over the past few months, according to Simonton and Chicago police.
