Thank you and amen. Listen, I've been heavy all my life, and that's one thing -- overeating. But right about the time I started losing weight (the right way, through changing my diet and heavy duty exercise) my arthritis and irritable bowel took a fucking sharp-ass downturn for the worse, and I've gained back all the weight I lost.
Between the fact that my body doesn't process food properly -- it sometimes kicks it all the way through my system without absorbing nutrients, putting my body into starvation mode and slowing down my metabolism -- and the fact that some mornings I'm in so much pain I need help to get out of bed, I'm not working out at alland maintaining a weight of about 260lbs.
If you wanna say that makes me lazy, that's okay. I'd also like to see how bad you'd be whining after a day in my shoes, spent bleeding from the guts and waiting for my knees to unlock enough so that I can get up and down out of a chair on my own.
