I had no end of problems with Win10...apps wouldn't open, or would crash when opening a dialogue box (really annoying when saving something you'd just spent 20 minutes writing), sometimes wouldn't even boot properly. Then I unplugged the USB backup drive and the DVD drive and it seems to be stable now.
