While McDonald's did not give an official reason as to why the iconic burger would be removed from the menu, Venezuelan media has been speculating that the restaurant chain could no longer source the thin middle bun that separates its two beef patties. What's more, the country also suspended french fries for 11 months last year because of food shortages.
