Your argument is ridiculous. In addition to outing the Saudi gay men, they have published the names of teenage rape victims, medical records, financial data, and information relating to paternity disputes, custody fights, and other family concerns. Where is a person's right to privacy in your world? The argument against governments, and for hackers spying into people's private emails and information so they can release it to the world is pretty fucked IMHO. Sounds like you'd love the Orwellian world of 1984.
Oh, and let's also point out that the hackers are probably rich western white heterosexual men of privilege, just like the millionaire Assange. No big shit to them if some gay people die, or how many families they destroy in their quest for power and money.

Releasing info about the governments abuse of power and their corruption, is a good thing. We have a right to know whats going, and we have a right to privacy. It seems like the governments are trying to make the world like 1984. The hackers shouldn't spy on regular citizens or steal, and especially they shouldn't put regular people's lives in danger. But if they are finding info, about our government and its leaders, that sheds light on what's really going on then it's doing good.
