We also only took Cash or Checks when we first started (its a headage), we choose to start a Merchant Account and had a hell of a time to get one in 96 when we went with Lancelot.
Than Ibill (their Pincodes was a nightmare and I had to pay 800 bucks for the setup)
When CCbill came around we were in heaven, no setup fee, no pincodes we jumped on them like crazy and dropped Ibill, I still had recurrend members when we opt out on ibill when the 750 fee came around and stayed with PSW as second biller instead and paid them.
Now Dutchbilling, Globill, and others are going down the drain quickly. We do have Verotel as back-backup and always our Merchant Account (I really don't want to use it), but lots of companies we have dealt with in the past or still dealing with are removing Adult from their billing.
This is quite interesting and I bet many sit back and wait to see what is going on, paying their fees and hoping for the best, or setting up European Companies so they won't loose their Offshore accounts (like Multicards or Verotel) when the shit hits the fan and they only take European Clients.
Yikes, it will be an interesting year. Were going to the Vegas Convention, lets see how many billers will still be around than (Multicards is no longer taking adult sites starting this month)
urgh!
