My wife watches this, which means I watch it too.
The guy is a bit goofy but whatever. At least he's got personality. Keep in mind he hams it up for the cameras to make it interesting.
I kind of like watching these home shows. Seeing how much houses go for in other parts of the country always surprises me. I paid $550k at the peak of the housing market for a 3k sq foot house; It's nice, a model home, but nothing great. I was watching last weekend and there was a 100 year old house in Connecticut that was just as large, completely refurbished, like brand new, tons and tons of character.... For half the price of what I paid. Then again, I couldn't live in Connecticut - way too fucking cold for me.
