A friend of mine is one of those died hard patriot types. Any little thing will set him off. One afternoon he was going off about veterans. There had been something in the news about a vet getting screwed over by the VA and he was furious and ranting about supporting the troops. I asked him what he has personally done to support the troops. Eventually it was discovered the only thing he had ever done was have his wife bake 2 dozen cookies that he donated to a group that was sending care packages to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

So Mr. Patriot could only be bothered to ask his wife to bake something. Other than that he has done nothing. It made me laugh. He always throws a big Super Bowl party. If, at this year's party, he fails to stand for the national anthem I plan to bust his balls.
