While I have nothing to do with the 3rd party billing side of CCbill, I use them for affiliate work & they are terrible, IMO.
Their GUI is from the stone age (even after they redesigned it a couple of years back), nothing is intuitive on their site (I constantly have to reach out to find where something is), IMO, & I've had staff scoff at me when I make comments about how the site should be intuitive or it shouldn't take 3-4 steps to get to one bloody area of the site.
It never ceases to amaze me that companies (not just CCBill) who have the WORST coding & design are still in biz after all these years. These are companies that have 15-20 years in the industry.
You would think as things advance & expectations are higher, that they would lose a lot of their clients, but I guess not LOL My shopping cart is like that & I have been wanting to move from them for ions, but haven't been able to. They have never ONCE implemented smart changes that I have suggested. Never fixed issues, they just keep adding features & are way behind the times compared to other SCs.
But they are STILL in biz somehow.
Even signing up for an affiliate on CCBill is THE stupidest process I've EVER seen.
Instead of having one Affiliate ID, they give you a DIFFERENT ID for every single merchant/company you sign up for, so it's very confusing, you can't just sign up easily, & it's a long drawn out process that has stressed me out many a time.
Again, this has nothing to do with the billing side, but I can't imagine it's any better.
