10,000 troops with all the arms and equipment to back them up. 10,000 civilians with all equipment to back them up. As a minimum. This will be paid by the US government, that's you through your taxes. The oil profits will go to the oil companies unless you really believe the US should Nationalise a section of the oil industry.
The lives lost are part of doing business.
