There was a great old school Italian pastry shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that had the best iced coffee I've ever had. Their "trick": the ice cubes were made from coffee, not water. So the drink actually got stronger as the ice cubes melted!
Easy enough to replicate at home . . .
Sadly the place has closed. One-of-a-kind, run by an elderly Italian couple. It was like stepping into their living room.
