my common sense reply was: he doesnt do that on purpose and big scale, as he would lose public support and support of his army. you probably know the meaning of the word "collateral damage" (ha ha) and "targeted strikes" (ha ha once again) - this is how it looks like in reality. sadly.
you can't strike successfully on the city where so called rebels live in normal houses and are spread out like normal people. thus, civil casualties from such war are terrible
I'm not saying that Assad is saint or whatever. He is a bastard, probably not that big bastard like Saddam was (Iraq- iran war for example...using of chemical weapons by Saddam approved by US in 80's), but still. but the question is: do you prefer to live in a country like Syria was under "brutal Assad regime", in lets say 2005 or 2010 (just google the photos and compare it with whats now over there), or do you prefer current state of affairs in Syria ?
Do you prefer to live in a country when peacefully live together (all under "brutal assad regime") Kurds, Sunnis, Shias, Yazidis, Alawites and Christians or do you prefer Syria when one mindfuck group kills and slaughters others because they are not "islamist enough" ?
Thanks in advance for ignoring my reply !

Everyone understands what Asad is doing but you and Russia it seems..
Yet you pretend it's not wrong and it's the people's fault he is dropping bombs on them because they don't like him..
