I'm voting for Johnson not only because I like the philosophy behind libertarianism but also because he ISN'T A REPUBLICAN OR A DEMOCRAT.
I'm also voting for anybody who is challenging an incumbent, I don't give a shit what party the challenger is as long as I can help throw out one of the lifetime career dirtbags.
The dirtbag that I help elect probably won't be any better than the dirtbag he kicks out of office but maybe, just maybe he won't feel quite so secure in his position and actually try to do his job and listen to what the people want rather than his party masters and corporate owners.

You do understand Gary Johnson was a Republican until just recently, and he is a politican - more so than Trump, who has never held office.

Also, my statement about voting out all incumbents referred to down-ballot races, throw the career dirtbags out.
As for Johnson once being a republican, with only two parties able to play in the big leagues nearly everybody had to belong to one or the other at some time, I don't hold it against him since now he seems to have seen the light.
