Work from a desktop. Last black friday stayed up late to snatch like a $600-700 Dell laptop for $299 I think because I've never owned a laptop. In the 10 months think I've turned it on 4 times mainly for windows/virus updates so don't really need a laptop but price was cheap enough to have it as backup or if I need to travel somewhere.
