well I'm exactly for 10 years in the affiliate marketing, I'm 27 and I'm doing my 4th business... I've had my golden era where I made my daily 300 bucks with like running my bots.. and I've had some tough times too when I worked harder for less but that's how you become complete as a man, like you can't step into heaven without going through hell... however I can say most of the time I made a decent income with adult and non-adult as well, I didn't see a dayjob for 8 years now
right now I'm making 60-70$ daily with non-adult PPV, it's still a decent income in my country
