The problem with US politics is both sides are paid for by the same group. Big business wants mass migration, exports, the ability to move factories to low-wage countries, the banking system unregulated, wars, anti giving more of their money to help people who have been devastated by their policies.
Worse still they have brainwashed so many that corporations, millionaires, and billionaires paying low tax is good for the nation, that everyone without a job is lazy, etc.
The truth is out there and yet brainwashing makes people blind to the truth. There are too few jobs for the unemployed, more people on minimum or low wage than ever, the debt is rising because Americans refuse to pay the money it takes to run a modern society and interfere in countries where there is wealth to be earned by the privileged few.
The only solution for the West is to stop free trade agreements and enforce a balanced trade deal, excluding banking which benefits a tiny few. If the US/China trade was balanced, US debt would be far lower, there would be more jobs, less would be needed to spend on welfare, policing, prisons and more would be collected in taxes.
If the US adopted the same healthcare system as the rest of the modern world, everyone would be covered and it would cost less.
None of this will happen because it makes the 5% poorer. Who don't give a fuck about the other 95%.
