To be led so easily into thinking that I mean *any* of what quite clearly came out of my mouth in a private conversation would mean being so gullible as to be swayed by others' faux offence and point scoring opportunity, that any genuine points you may come out with further down the line are completely ignored by those who don't get swayed by such horseshit. My opinion on Trump has changed (not that it mattered anyway, I'm outside the US), but not because of the oh-so-obvious media tactics, and it hasn't changed my opinion on why I think the US would be better off with him than hillary - it's fucking comical to see the depths of straw-clutching going on (from both teams), when they aren't even needed (by either team).
That people try to persuade the undecideds by such childish methods is a far bigger problem for society than the perceived one of 'trump or hillary?'.
