Historically, it's only the Republicans who, when they're in power, come after pornographers. Obama continued some prosecutions that the Bush administration had started, but did little else. Republicans like to make an issue out of porn as it mollifies their whacko Christian base, and does no harm to their real constituency of capitalists, business owners, corporations, etc.
