Actually, there is reason to be optimistic this morning. A cease fire was agreed to in Yemen and the Russians and Syrians have agreed to a halt in bombing in Aleppo, Syria.
Now, less posturing in northeastern Europe between Russia and NATO might be possible. Pull the troops back and normalize commerce. Trading partners have nothing to gain by evaporating each other ...
This constant saber rattling and brinkmanship is causing too much stress.
