Trump had some great opportunities, but he got in the way of himself. It was almost like he was just telling people to go look stuff up online. He was mentioning it, but no explaining it and most people aren't going to bother looking things up.

The Clinton Foundation was a disaster for him. He could have really hit her, instead he mentioned money from various countries going to the foundation and then she started listing all the great things they do with that money and she finished by slamming him saying he used charity money to buy a big painting of himself. Not only did he fail to connect the dots he set her up for a great moment and ended up taking one on the chin.
