Paul the cultural and intellectual gape between us is too vast for any useful dialog. in my opinion changing man's actions and behaviors with out first changing the nature of man is unrealistic.
you may force laws that cause hostility by granting privilege and call it equality, you may blame everyone who disagrees with you, you may murder millions and millions to prove your correctness or cause a state wide drought with all the financial and human hardship inherent with that. I see division as no help for our situation. unlike you?
there are many ways, in fact as many way as there are people to think about our issues as a people. not as a race or a culture or who you like to fuck, but as a people, a growing group of humans stuck on this planet together.
and Paul this is the greatest divergence in our thoughts, you think people are the problem, well except for you and your family of course and the supporters of your concepts, as most people with your thought pattern do. I think people are the solution.
as you can see no common ground for discussion. you can see why correct? the honest conclusion to your thought pattern is kill your family and then kill yourself because you are harming the planet and preying without pity on others.
the conclusion for my thought pattern is all humans beings must live in dignity together. dignity being among other things, access to clean water, food, medical and schools. dignity is to know when you and your family go to bed you will be safe AND alive in the morning. and the opportunity for meaningful employment and self worth gained from personal achievements.
then we will know the answers to our technological issues. let me clarify that with a small example: I believe that were we to start saving human lives and allowing people to live in dignity, a person will be born that will understand and solve our issues and I do believe this will happen in time to save of all us and the planet.
I, in fact believe this to be a more likely solution than say global warming movement fixing the issues with a committee meeting and a gazillion dollars. 100 years of more off correct? that's 5 generations of humans Paul. 5 generations people.
as you see Paul, no common ground. I have belief in people and you do not. I'm not so sure why you are filled with what ever it is.
