The example they give regarding downloading pornstar body scans gives an idea as to how HoloLens porn has 1,000 x the possibilities of VR porn. And there were already VR porn sites out before the commercial release of the Oculus Rift. (VirtualRealPorn began when there was no commercial VR headset and now has a solid brand lead as the Number 1 VR site). I'm surprised there isn't already a HoloLens paysite out yet, even if the market is extremely small and will remain so for at least a year or so. |
Interesting article there. My sense is it's going to take a decade or so to catch on. A lot of consumers feel ripped off by the 4K & 3D crazed that were overhyped.
