Indeed - in this election, these die hard partisans are barking at a wrong tree. It is much less about partisanship, as it is about whether one is thoroughly fed up with the blatantly corrupt establishment.
It is fascinating how much denial there still is about the fact that with HRC you're voting in somebody involved in countless pay to play schemes, hide and seek, collusion, deception, lying, "I do not recall". Including major affinity to some of the most hostile Jihad exporting Islamic regimes in the world. And a campaign that doesn't shy away from anything to keep the money flowing in.
Basically voting in the female version of Dick Cheney with a DNC badge. Someone with a proven track recort of supporting structural damage to economy / national security / disastrous foreign policy / any sort of public interest in order to satisfy the cronies that come with enough money (and who's even investigated by FBI for it). All laid out and available directly from the HRC camp's mouth.
While the protest vote doesn't have to be for Trump, who's a "colorful" candidate to say the least, it appears rather absurd that it's perfectly accepted to basically say that "I vote for the most corrupt and dishonest presidential candidate in the history because I personally dislike the other guy I know".
