I think if Trump makes kissy-face with the Republican led Congress Trump can move a lot of legislative initiatives into law his first year in office.
Most of the laws enacted will be the at the initiative of the incoming Congress the first year.
There will be little opportunity for legislative gridlock or obstruction ... good luck with that
