Yes, I've watched Trumpland. I know exactly what Moore was trying to say there. My point is the same as Moore's in that piece, hence the reason I posted it. Whether Trump is good for the country or not, it really didn't matter to the voters. They are tired of the establishment in Washington taking lobbyist money, passing laws that benefit corporations and corporations screwing over the working class.
They simply saw Trump as a figurehead as someone who would go against the establishment and Hillary as part of it. Moore obviously preached about the dangers of electing Trump, but also laid out in that clip why he understands Trump's allure to the average Joe voter. In many of Moore's interviews leading up to the election, he warned that many of the polls were wrong and that Trump stood a good chance of winning despite what the media was telling everyone.
