That's why a utility worker in Iowa that gave me a ride in his van told me why he and his wife moved from Arizona back to Iowa.
The illegals take up too much of the population to not pay taxes, the schools are relatively poor down in that region for how much they pay in taxes he said.
Iowa is pretty easy to get on welfare and assistance. At the coffee shop yesterday I talked to a guy that said he was living with his sister, he and she are black. I told him I was proud of him being a working man.
He said he can't stand his sister, she has 3 kids, no job, gets free food, free rent, watches TV all day, and is addicted to crystal meth.
I have 0 problems with people getting rides if they absolutely can't take care of themselves but situations like that just reinforce the worst kinds of sterotypes.
