Personally I believe his estimate to be relatively accurate. There will be pandemics which will wipe out millions. The odd dirty bomb going off now and then with radical muslims strategically allowed to "immigrate" all over the world.
The environment will continue to deteriorate to the point that less food will be produced and starvation will continue to take out millions.
All of this going on at once and just to put the cherry on the top of the cake of human extinction will be World War lll and the advanced chemical and viral agents and then the use of thermonuclear weapons will take care of the rest.
