the question is: who fueled this conflict over the years that we landed where we landed ?
I really doubt that Assad's intention and goal while he was in power 100 % was to make genocide of Syrians. He rather wanted to rule.... and make his country prosper (but on top of that - his friends and family). Nothing really wrong with that...
now look what we have today....
the " not moderate opposition" kills Alawites on spot. Majority of people in Assad's army are Sunnis...
now, quoting Assad: "how can you survive without public support, if you have against you practically all your neighbours and world powers"...so answer this for yourself...
divide and conquer ! the silence (and I mean - true silence, not any fucking word in media) of Israel on this matter really says a lot.
