We were milking 80-100 cows twice a day in a production milking parlor. 2 stages with 8 cows each at once. Westphalia milking machine -- small commercial dairy farm.
Like this but only 8 bays per side.
Each run out -- hose the cow shit off the stage and get the next run loaded in.
We had 200 Holsteins total usually. Cows only milk after they give birth. After 5 -7 calves the cows get loaded onto the butcher's truck. You know how big the weekly shit pile is from 80 - 100 milking cows?
