And after the four years are over, let's compare metrics. Let's see how unemployment does after Trump. The last Republican president started with a great economy and a 4.9% unemployment rate, and eight years later the unemployment had doubled. Under Obama the unemployment was cut in half. I am a firm believe in the employment rate being an important indicator of the economy, so you had better believe I'll be here complaining if unemployment goes up.
