I think this is a kid being a kid, and is being dragged to his daddy's events when he would much rather be playing video games.
If the kid is autistic, who cares? A friend of mine has an autistic kid and frankly he is amazing. Something as simple as shutting the front door behind him is something he doesn't understand, but I've seen the kid use his cell phone to hack another cell phone in under thirty seconds.
