GoDaddy had the 60 day lock before but not "Essentially, if you make a change to your registrant name, organization name or email address on a domain once the new policy goes into effect, both the new and old registrant have to approve the change."

So basically if ya don't have a current live email that works gonna be tough to approve any changes. For those that use privacy on their domains that doesn't actually forward to ya or privacy services that change their anonymous email address every month etc... could cause issues as well as the whois service would have to approve changes. Might wanna send yourself an email if using private whois to see if it actually forwards to ya as some do and some don't based on my past usage.

Would seem easier to just force 2 factor security across the board as I'm sure this will cause headaches. So best to make sure all your domains are using an email address now that actually reaches ya and not old dead emails, previous owner emails, etc...
