I see your point but at the same time, and its something I would never do, but at the same time I understand it as a form of expression. You might burn the flag because you hate what your country has become, or burn the flag to indicate that the values of which it was based no longer have meaning. Either way, its a pretty cool / strong form of expression, and if its an expression, its protected under free speech. If it wasn't, the next thing to go might be the the freedom to laugh at Trump.
Not cool, not safe. Take away the first amendment, 99% of the posts on GFY would be illegal, and you might get arrested.
True, but what if its your property? What if you buy a flag for the purpose of burning it?
