I was able to cash some globill checks as late as July 20 so I doubt they were able to ran off with a ton of cash. Also, all the "signups" between July 21-25 were "unverified" meaning the cards were not even charged since they lost their merchant account so they couldn't have got that money either. It looks more like they were in a mad scramble to try and get back up and running somehow but then gave up when it was clear that visa terminated them.

From what I have read on this board about merchant account terminations it looks like the banks and Visa are the ones that grab most of the funds and then fine the shit out of the account to grab as much money as possible. they are probably the biggest bandits.

At this point, I sent in the letter to St. kitts and am just waiting for a response. If i get no money back whatsoever then I will call globill the worst scum, along with merchant banks and Visa. But if they even at least give me pennies on the dollar back, then at least I would not feel totally raped and that they care to do the right thing to some degree. We'll see. The notice they sent implied they would respond by Sept 15th or around that.
