What I can say is I have multiple DMCA's both in doc format and actual email exchanges between studio and IPSP's (the studios mostly do not speak English so they sometimes forward me the emails asking me to translate for them). I do not speak for every single studio in Japan, but the ones we work with have all said the same thing.
