I like to look at what other people do and I like to reflect on the road that the industry has travelled down. To this effect I look back smut over the years and the stuff made 30-50 years ago was far more satisfactory to make and it has greater artistic merit. So I'm wondering would smut sell if I was to recreate old school photography and shoot smut using period costumes, decent performers that can carry a line and put in a basic "naughty" plot.

I'm looking at this photo taken in 1912 by E. J. Bellocq is really stroakable in my opinion.
