I live in Michigan and the past few years they have always asked for photo ID -- a driver's license -- that doesn't prove citizenship -- I have a US Passport ID card -- do you?

I think this is state-wide ... not just this county ...

From the accounts I have read they are using some old machines Detroit Voting Machine Failures Widespread on Election Day

Don't blame the voters -- blame the election officials and the antiquated laws

I would have no problem with using a secure digital method of voting -- if that can be done -- I would prefer it for convenience and as being more cost-effective. If the blockchain can be used in a "secret" ballot -- theoretically it could. The problem is securing the blockchain token itself -- there would have to be some validity key that is not stored digitally that is also anonymous.

The blockchain has never been hacked but the storage security has.
