They are buying numbers on a screen, and wondering why their bounce rate is 97% from banner clicks. Traffic brokers are the biggest thieves online today. It's an epidemic that is way out of control and too big to slow down.
I know one day, a big whale with big bucks will hire a lawyer and take down one of these crooks, but until it happens, they will all feed on webmaster's ignorance.
It's estimated 2/3 of regular industry traffic is bot, and that's for regular non adult traffic.
Adult is the much much higher. In my opinion, 90% of all adult traffic is bot.
If you could deliver 10% real traffic, and 90% bot, and get paid 100% for the traffic and get away with it, wouldn't you? Of course you would. It's the wild wild west online, anything goes. No regulation, no FCC audits, nothing at all.
When your sales drop, or your bounce rate is 97% from clicked banners, now you know why.
Wake up people. Check the incoming IP's. Check where the hits are coming from. Check your bounce rate from banners. They can fake IP's now, send skim to your banners and bots can even click on the first page of your site to make it look like a real surfer. Put a small tiny link on your first page, that you can barely see, and for some reason, you'll get hits on it from your banner traffic. The bots pick up on url links, not the visual links in your page... once those bots click it, you'll know you are being royally fucked in the ass by your broker.
You are in for a huge awakening.
