Seems you have never been to army, comrade. The smaller man is always a smaller target which is actually a very essential thing. Nobody fights with maces anymore. They use assault rifles. Heard something about 'em?
Our lieutenant colonel was training Vietnam soldiers during the Vietnam War. He said they were very small and not physically strong. During joint training accelerated marches in full ammunition, those got quickly exhausted. So Russian officiates just picked them with their ammo and continue running, to do not fuck up the squad's result. Now try to remember who was more effective in Jungle battles and who won that war - cool American rambos, or those small and weak Asians
So there is no place for hand to hand combats in 21st century. But if even it wasn't so, I doubt it would be easy to break those legs...
