I'm sure this helped fuel the fire of many Trump supporters and those leaning towards Trump who ended up voting for him.
The Democrats have gotten so obsessed with pandering to the fringe of their party that they have lost their way. They used to be about blue collar working class people, strong unions, middle-class jobs etc. Now if you disagree with them on any issue you are a racist or a bigot or a misogynist. It's crazy.
