My best friends back in the day all white used to breakdance and shit. They wanted to teach me but I was more into the music as grew up on old school hip hop/rap so I would actually make all the mix tapes (yes cassettes) for the throwdowns which happened weekly. Watched my white friends beat the hell out of all da other crews without any white boys in them. My best friends older brother hung out with one of the top mixers on the radio at the time. Funny cause he had a pimp name for the radio and then ya meet him and it's like meeting urkel. Old school isn't NWA it's well before that Slick Rick, Kurtis Blow, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One, etc... Damn I'm old.
