When I lived in MA, I had a bigger apartment than when I lived in Daytona. My rent was the exact same in both states. Literally it was like $20 different. Taxes in MA were much cheaper sure there was an excise tax on my vehicle but it was nothing. I paid something like $45 for a 2 year tag fort my truck and $15 for the inspection or something close to that.

Meanwhile in FL the tag is $200 then around $50 per year.. Property tax and house insurance is ridiculous in FL so it's not really any cheaper to live here than say MA. Meanwhile you make much better money in MA. Sure FL doesn't have a state tax but they fuck you every way possible on everything else to make up for it. You don't just live there tax free they fucking tax the hell out of you at the gas pump, if you want to build a shed in your yard anything they can add a tax to they do it..

Example the state tax on gas is 36 cents per gallon in FL. In MA it's only 24 cents..
