Been a tradition in my family and extended family all my life to put the Christmas tree up the day after Thanksgiving. That day is usually shopping in the morning and all day long, and tree trimming at night.
I'm not so picky though. For me, whenever the heck I rearrange the living room is when I drag the tree up from the basement.

Every year, christmas shit gets put out earlier and earlier, they totally bypassed thanksgiving stuff, went straight from halloween to christmas... next thing you know it, people will be putting christmas shit away, putting up new years stuff, then after the new year, putting christmas shit back up...
