I hope you know I am being 100% serious. It is a very grave tragedy. These were lifelong musicians, not politicians, and they did their work to make others happy. I am very sad to see a professional choir perish like this, and I am sure they suffered and were very afraid before they died.

I know a number of, or more accurately, several, Russians who live in Russia. They all speak to me in English. No one with a real brain imagines that an entire country is "evil".
