No it is not, the amount of coins does not matter at all because you can have 0.1; 0.01;......0.0000000000001 etc.

You can have x amount of btc and one cost $977
You can have 10 times more btc and one would cost $97.7
You can have 10 times less btc and one would cost $9770
Would be exactly the same thing in all three cases. Denomination (or amount of full coins) does not matter AT ALL.

It is the same thing when ignorant people try to compare world currencies based on their values. While in fact it does not matter at all. You just add or remove zeros.
You can have "weak" currency where 1000 of it gets you a bottle of beer.
You remove three zeros and it is suddenly "strong" currency while in fact it is exactly the same thing, just now beer cost not 1000, but 1.
Turkish, Italian liras, Belarus rubles etc were examples. Denominations does not matter.
