Just saw this.. obviously renewable power is not just for 1st world countries, in fact it might be a cheaper route for 3rd world power..
Costa Rica powered by renewable energy for over 250 days in 2016
2016 Costa Rica was 98.2% electric power by renewable energy for the year of 2016. Meaning for an entire year only 8% of their power came from fossil fuels.. In 30-50 years the MI is gone to status of Africa..
Iraq, Saudi, Iran, Syria are living on borrowed time, their importance to the rest of the world will be the same as Ethiopia in 30-50 years. Once cars are mostly electric, they are done..
Localized renewable power is the future not big power plants and power grids that span an entire country. In fact I'd say 3rd world has the advantage, because they don't have to deal with extensive power grid networks, they can start fresh in many places with localized renewable systems.
