QC is better in the first world and the remediation (fix that shit) costs are a lot less
QC is not much better today in Mexico then it was then. I have family that work with Honda Corp daily, and was told about vehicles that repeatedly passed inspection in Mexico, brought into the States only to fail secondary QC there.
